About this campaign
I got Julius as a kitten 7 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. He is my spunky little cuddle bug and is loved by not only me, but by all of my other cats (Bianca, Leo, and Luna). He has lived a great life and is never lonely, even though sometimes he probably wishes he had alone time from his little brother and sisters.
He is always up to play with the other cats and wrestle around. He loves to sleep right by my feet, especially in the winter time when it’s cold. When lounging around, he is either hanging out in his cat tree or sunbathing in the sunlight that comes through our windows. He loves bird watching and can watch them for hours.
He has always been spicy and will let you know right away that he does not want his belly rubbed but at the same time is so loving and gentle (on his terms of course). He has the cutest little meow when he is telling you that he is in need of treats. He lets you know that when it’s time to open the blinds for his daily sunbath by pawing at the blinds until they’re open.
He is being seen at VetCare Animal Hospital in Denver, CO. He has been in and out of the vet for about a month as he suddenly starting eating less and losing weight and will need treatment for liver disease, which could require a feeding tube and rigorous supplementation of vitamins until the liver regenerates.
I have drained my savings and left over income for diagnostic testing and don’t have much left for the treatment that is needed. Julius means the world to me and has been by my side for almost my entire adult life. He is only 7 years old and has so much more life to live.
