Junior is a 7 year old Labrador Retriever in Dowagiac, MI, who needs $2,000 for Surgery and Recovery.

Hello! We rescued Junior when he was a little pup from an acquaintance as they were going to send him to the humane society. He has been our sweet baby boy from the first day we met him. Junior used to be a chewer and we caged him for years. We stopped caging him about a year ago and he was going great!

About a month ago we noticed him chewing on a pet bed. We threw away the pet bed and he was doing fine again. We purchased a couch on amazon for the dogs so they felt special! Junior decided to chew up 2 of the cushions. Well, there is a blockage in his intestines. They have to pump fluids in him before surgery and keep him for 48 hours after surgery for recovery.

Junior LOVES to play with his dog and kitty siblings. He loves every single one of them and is the biggest snuggle bug. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Junior's favorite activity is fetch. He will play fetch as long as you will throw the ball for him! He loves to play in the sprinklers but doesn't like bath time, we don't judge.

This is an unfortunate expense for our family as we did not expect to have a $7,000 vet bill right now during these touch times. This money would help us pay off the vet bill and really help our family. We have 3 puppies , 2 indoor kitties, and 2 outdoor kitties.
