Junior is a 10 year old rescue from To Love a Canine in PA. He is part Chihuahua and rat terrier. I adopted him when he was about 4 years old and knew from the minute I got him home that he belonged with me. He is my first dog. I have always had cats and currently have 4 cats at home. My one cat ,Vinnie, came to live with me about the same time Junior did and these two are best buddies.

Junior needs surgery on his back right leg as he has a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament. It happened when he was jumping out of the car. My vet said this is something that was happening over time. He is currently limping around and doesn't put much weight on that leg. It has slowed him down and just not his jolly little self. I will be using Metropolitan Vet in Norristown, PA.

Junior is a certified Therapy Dog and is used to being on the go and visiting people. He comes to school with me (I teach first grade) and is loved by the whole school community. We often visit a local Veterans' Center and he has so many friends that look forward to seeing him on the weekends. We visit a local university and go back to where he trained to be a Therapy Dog. He's special!
