About this campaign

Junior was someone that came into our life as a puppy. We saw him at the pet store when we went in for dog food one day and there he was. We have had him since he was 16 weeks old. Always has his tail wagging and gives tons of kisses, friendly to all who see him. They say he is the sweetest guy you could meet. We named him Junior after our senior dog who passed away last year at the age of 17.

Junior caught kennel cough at the boarding facility he was at, he seemed to get over it. Then Tuesday night he started wheezing a lot and drooling. We took him to the VEG Georgetown in which they informed us he as Aspiration pneumonia. He has been in the oxygen crate to help him breathe and on antibiotics, nebulizer and fluids. He is doing better but he still struggles without oxygen.

Juniors have one of those personalities that makes everyone smile. Even now the Dr’s say he has such a glow, his tail does a little wag even though he struggles. He is the life of the party whenever we visit family. Always loves to jump on his grandma he gives her kisses. He loves to always be on your lap and his favorite treat is ice cubes which is odd.

We are asking anyone to help since one of us is on SSDI and the other works but has limited income and in grad school. Any help since we have now exhausted our savings . Junior brings life to the room whenever he comes in it, being home, it feels so empty without him in it.
