About this campaign
Kabal was a rescue from Michigan Humane Society in 2019. He was 5, going on 6 and I had just turned 18 and graduated high school earlier in the year. From what the
Kabal has a large mass on his front left leg. The vets at Michigan Humane Society suspect that it is a stage I or stage II sarcoma. After a couple of X-rays, they said this mass has not spread to other parts of his body. Unfortunately, they can't remove only the tumor due to how it's grown so they recommend a full amputation. This amputation will remove the risk of cancer spreading.
Kabal is a very spoiled boy. He loves long walks along the lake, or strut down the street excitedly to say hello to everyone he sees. when not taking long walks, he likes to sunbathe and take naps on my bed. He meets me at the door & sings when I come home. Kabal is happy dog but this illness is wearing him down. He is in pain.
I am a college student so money is extremely tight. Because of the urgency of getting the surgery done, I've taken on odd jobs along with trying to take on more hours at my regular part time job. To have my "son" healthy and happy without pain, means the world to me.
