Kacey is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Temecula, CA, who needs $5,000 for TPLO Surgery.

This is our sweet girl Kacey! We picked her out when she was just a couple weeks old and now she is 5 years old. She has a funny personality, very curious, ready to play when you are. She loves chasing her brother around (our other dog) and then cuddling after. She gives big slobbery kisses, more slobber the more she loves ya 😉

One day while playing fetch with our son, she took off running, whined and has been limping ever since. We thought it was a muscle strain but we have found out it’s a fully torn CCL (ACL in humans) and meniscus. Surgery had a 90-95% success rate and she can go back to her happy, playful self.

Kacey loves treats and snuggling with her humans or her brother. She loves to talk when she sees something interesting or wants something. She is our spoiled girl and I hate seeing her hurt.

This is a very unexpected accident and surgery. She’s only 5 and has so many years a head of her. The surgery is roughly $5,000 with half down to schedule. We would be so incredibly grateful for any help. It’s hard loving something so much and seeing it injured.
