About this campaign

Sweet little Kadi has been through more in her short life than most of us could imagine. Born into the horrors of a South Korean puppy mill, she survived unthinkable conditions. She made the long journey to safety, finally arriving in the loving care of Big Little Life Animal Rescue. She was finally safe. She was learning what it felt like to be loved, to play, to just be a dog.

But just as her new life was beginning, everything changed. Out of nowhere, Kadi fell critically ill. First came the bloody diarrhea, then the vomiting. Big Little Life rushed her to the emergency hospital, where doctors confirmed their fears—Kadi might not have survived another night without care.

Kadi is severely dehydrated, her albumin levels are dangerously low, and an ultrasound shows inflammation in her small intestine. Now, Kadi is hospitalized, hooked up to IV fluids and receiving albumin, fighting for her life. She may require a blood transfusion depending on how her condition progresses.

Big Little Life is doing everything they can, but her life-saving treatment is estimated to cost $6,000—far beyond what the rescue can afford. Kadi has fought so hard for her chance at life—please help us make sure she gets it.
