About this campaign
This is out little girl Kahlani. We got her when she was 8 weeks old from a breeder in California. She was very small for her age and was not used to the chilly weather when she came in mid October. She is very playful and a big snuggle bug. She stole our hearts before we had even met her and even more so now that we have had her with us over the past 5 months.
Since coming to us she has adapted well to our routine and has almost mastered the potty training. She is a very smart girl . She sleeps on her bed with her stuffed animals. She loves playing tug of war and fetch with her human brothers. We have absolutely loved watching her grow and get used to the climate change from California to here in Maine winter.
She if so very goofy. She runs and jumps up on thinks like she is a Billy goat! She also sleeps with her tongue hanging out, which makes us laugh. When she runs she has a little hop to it. The first time she seen snow was so much fun. At first she didn't want to step In it, and then she took off on the run, plowing her way through and diving head first into the fluffy snow covering her cute face.
a month ago, after playing, we noticed she had a red bubble sticking out from her lower eye lid.I rubbed her eye for about 10 min and she fell asleep. The next morning the bubble was gone.I researched and the bubble is called cherry eye. It's common for breeds with droopy lower lids.A few days ago the bubble came back worse than before and nothing I do help.Vet says she needs surgery on both eyes.
We are on a low fixed income, and with rising cost of heating, and groceries we are unable to pay for the expensive surgery she needs to save her eyes from further damage. We would love to have her back to her usual playful self, and not to worry about her eyes.
