Kai is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Marion, IA, who needs $350 for Eye Check and Treatment.

I got Kai around July of 2022 as a service dog in training. He has been with me ever since and has since completed his training. I have been barreling several medical issues and have been in the process of obtaining disability but this takes a long time. As of right now we are kind of bouncing around houses or pitching a tent. I do odd end things like crocheting and babysitting to bring in money.

Kai was a really healthy until about 6 months he got a really bad case of Giardia and lost a lot of weight.We are still working on fattening him up and he is almost two.About four months ago he started to get red eyes and goop coming from them.I tried over the counter remedies and they haven’t gone away.His eyes have got more red and the group continues to worsen I clean his eyes 3-5 times a day

Kai is such a snuggle bug . With his training he really picked up on emotion so he knows whenever someone is anxious or sad and he goes to try and comfort them. He is such a sweet boy and loves being with me and doing his job.Kai is a sucker for little kids and will do anything for them. He loves the beach and water and absolutely loves car rides.Kai also very much enjoys his sleep and taking naps

I am currently waiting to be approved by disability and do odd end things like crocheting stuffed animals and baby or dog sitting but it is hard for me to find a job to hire me. I have applied several places and never here back so vet bills are not possible at the moment
