About this campaign
My 13 yr old daughter found Kai when he was about 2 months old, on Halloween, 2018, and he had been abandoned at an empty lot, and he was cold and very skinny. We took him in, nursed him to health, and he has been just a delight to have in our lives. He is very playful, but he’s also smart, as he taught himself how to part the blinds in the window by pulling one up and one down, so he can see what’s going on outside, as well as trying to figure out how he can turn the doorknobs so he can go where he wants. He has been raised as an indoors only cat since we got him, but he doesn’t seem to mind. We have another cat who is 7 years old, and he has managed to make friends with her, even though she can have an attitude, he kept at it until she accepted him. He is very vocal, with many different meows to communicate what he wants. We love him and can’t imagine our life without him. He has shown us that he has a very strong desire to keep going , despite his injury, he is still playful, alert and affectionate! He is my daughters best friend, but he brings joy to my whole family.
