Kain is a 2 year old Cane Corso in Edmonton , AB, who needs $2,000 for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Surgery.

Kain is our 2 year old teddy bear; He is loving & gentle & so very patient, as he demonstrates everyday & with his canine little brother Ike.
Despite his size (130lbs), Kain loves to jump & play & run around, like any other dog. Unfortunately, this is exactly what caused Kain’s injury, as he was trying to keep up with his 6 month old younger brother & as a result tore his ACL in both legs.

Rutherford Veterinary Clinic completed X-rays & discovered torn ACL in both knees as well as hip dysplasia & arthritis. Kain will need surgery to fix his ACL in his left leg, which is the worst of the 2 & with this surgery the Dr. has told us that Kain can still have a great quality of life.

Kain is a beloved member of our family and I as a single mom of 4 young boys provide for my pets as well as my children the best that I can but this unexpected $4000 surgery that Kain needs is way out of budget and I just can’t think of how to come up with such an amount in a short period of time.

I was off from work for 2 years due to the unexpected death of my mother and then shortly after returning 2 of my children & I were in a car accident causing me to be off work for another 3 months As a result I am playing catch up on all my bills and it’s a struggle.
