Kaine is a 7-year-old American Bulldog/Pitbull in Bakersfield, CA, who needs $1,000 for Ultrasound.

I rescued Kaine from the Moreno Valley Shelter 7 yrs ago. He has been a great addition to our family. We had a scare last year when he chewed and ate a toy. He was able to pass it after some vet care and help. This time around we found a tumor near or in his liver. I already paid a large sum to start vet care but he now needs an ultrasound to determine if the tumor is Cancer.

My boy sleeps at my feet every night. No matter if I fall asleep on the couch, floor or bed. He always is protective over my 3 sons and follows us everywhere. Even when I clean the kitchen he's waiting in case anything falls when I wipe down. He has a sister that was given to us at 7 weeks and they have never been seperated.

Tugg of War with his sister is his favorite thing to do and chase frogs. Being with us is all he cares about and greets us everytime we arrive home. I can't imagine not seeing him when I arrive.

I took him to all Critters Pet Hospital for treatment in Bakersfield and he had a 105 fever and needed IV fluids. This was after a massive weight loss.

I work full time and make it with just enough. The $900 that I already spent was a huge chunk to come up with but I don't want to see my dog suffer and I knew something wasn't right. If I could raise the money needed for an ultrasound that can help save his life.
