About this campaign
I rescued her from the Humane Society over seven years ago. I went up front to look around. I spotted her sitting in her kennel looking very sad. I went over to her kennel; she came over and started telling me all about her time there and then started eating. I'm not sure what her background was. It wasn't good though.
She has slept on my bed since day one. She wouldn't sleep anywhere else. She wants to be with me all the time. She has complete run of the place. She does whatever she wants. She has access to food and water all day long. She is in a safe environment and stays indoors at all times. She watches her favorite tv shows.
It was obvious that she had been abused. She was afraid of men and loud noises. I have worked with her to get her to trust me. She enjoys spending time with my friend who is a male. She tells him all about her day. She has to have privacy when she's in her potty box. Her mustache and her personality make me smile. I can't imagine my life without her in it.
She was diagnosed with a tumor on her right hip. The vet wasn't sure where it came from or how it happened. I did some research and found out that she was a candidate for radiation. It would be much less severe than amputating her right leg. The place that can do the radiation is VCA in Sacramento.
I work and go to school. I'm a single person trying to make ends meet. It's not easy when the bills keep coming. She means everything to me and she's my little sweetheart. She deserves to have a life free of pain.
