Kaliko is a 1-year-old American Bulldog in Honolulu, HI, who needs $400 for Ultrasound.

We picked up Kaliko from a local breeder here in Honolulu, Oahu. When we picked her out of all her siblings it was because she stood out the most and she was the runt. We knew she would fit into our family the best. She is currently my ESA since January this year. she loves running but can't run too much because she gets tired fast and maybe due to heart.

Kaliko loves her snacks and she is very friendly. She is very attached and cannot sleep alone. She's one of our biggest babys. When she interacts with anyone her tail wags for days. Once she sees other dogs she's always wants to play no matter how big or small. She loves to cuddle and can't go for more than 3 hours without someone being by her side. She loves to be loved!

I am single mother of 2 girls. If anything should happen to our baby we will all be devastated. She's apart of our family and she needs this u/s to determine what we need to do to help her feel better. We are hoping that she has outgrown this heart murmur and meds won't be needed

After that first vet visit my kids were concerned. The vet said that we should keep an eye out and will check next time. The next appt the vet didn't say anything about her heart murmur so I asked and she told me that she couldn't hear it anymore. Her next round of shots we weren't able to go in due to covid19 and the vet called us after Kaliko was examined. Her vet said her heart murmur came back.

I noticed after we took her home while she slept on my lap her breathing looked really abnormal. I texted the breeder to check if this was normal because we have never had a dog in our life. I was worried she was having palpitations. As the days passed we took her into the vet to get checked. At 9 weeks she was diagnosed with a heart murmur stage 4. The vet recommended a ultrasound.
