About this campaign
Kane came into my life at a time I needed him the most. I had no idea how much a dog would mean to me until I adopted him from my local shelter. The drive home he instantly laid on my lap. Our connection is like no other and I can’t imagine life without him. He helped me through the hardest parts of my life, he truly is my best friend. He’s the sweetest most lovable baby and loves his little bro!
Kane has a younger Great Dane brother who he adores. He’s shown him all the ropes when he first came home to us. Kane loves to sleep right next to mama in bed. He does a little happy dance/hop when he gets a knee bone, and I’m sure he holds a record in how fast he shreds tennis balls! Kane absolutely loves his family and loves spending time with his dog family members every weekend.
Unfortunately during COVID my income took a dive and I had to file bankruptcy. It hasn’t been discharged yet so I can not open any credit lines to help me with this. My heart is beyond torn that my boy is sick, but it would mean the world to us to get him back to full health
Kane was scheduled for his yearly heartworm test and blood work and unfortunately he is heartworm positive. Kane’s a super healthy 4 year old who isn’t showing any symptoms so we aren’t thinking it’s very far along and should be a fairly easy treatment. He is being treated by Dr. Coco af Charleston Harbor Vet.
Kane came to me with super bad separation anxiety. Nothing tore me up more than watching my best friend shake whenever I left the house. After tons of mama and Kane training, and extra love, hes overcome his anxiety hurdle. He has the funniest high pitched bark and loves to drag his rope toy to me to play.
