Kane was brought into our lives as a puppy and has been a momma's boy since day one. He has been through so much already; from skin conditions at an early age, to finding out he has soft tissue spindle cell sarcoma. He also suffers from a rare bone disease called CMO. Kane is the most fun loving, cuddly buddy ever. He HAS to sleep on a pillow while being covered with a blanket. He tends to hog the bed, but will put his paw on your back so you know he is there. He protects my son and is always around him when he is sick. He tends to let others know when he wants attention by jumping into their laps.

Kane is beyond special to us. Not only has he endured so much pain already, but he is still a trooper and is putting forth his best effort when he isn't feeling well. His zoomies crack me up because he looks like a giant rabbit running. When you try to approach him whilst he is in zoomie mode, he will let you get about 6 inches from him before he takes off again.

Kane's vet has been with us from the beginning of his journey and are doing everything they can to ensure we can afford his treatment. Kane currently has anxiety, as well as CMO. He was diagnosed with Cancer within the past few months. He's already had two surgeries to remove the growths but they keep coming back more aggressive each time. Chemo is next.

Recently my husband, who was the money maker of the family, lost his job. He is facing some legal issues and won't be able to provide for his family anymore. Kane is my first Pitbull breed I've ever owned. He has made me rethink the stereotypes they have been given.
