My beautiful boy came into my life in 2022 almost 1 year after my daughter died. He was being rehomed and I knew he was meant to be mine. His previous owner called him Drago but that didn't fit him. On the drive home I kept saying different names. When I said Kane , he liked my face and that's how he got his name

We had a huge bee infestation at our house. I'm severely allergic so we had an exterminator come out. Kane eats all kinds of weird stuff, so when he would catch bees and eat them we didn't think much of it. Then he got sick. When we took him to the vet, all the tests pointed to his liver. Our vet believes it's from the toxins used to kill the bees.

Kane is more than just a pet—he is my constant companion and the furry love of my life. He's my psychiatric support animal . Hes been my source of comfort and strength, helping me get through some of the toughest times of my life. He's my protector, my Guardian, my big boy. And I'm terrified I'm going to lose him way to soon.
