Kanea is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Waunakee, WI, who needs $1,969 for Cystotomy.

Kanea lives with me in an apartment in Wisconsin. She and her sister were given to me a few years ago by someone who wanted to find a great home for them where they could live without dogs (they don't like dogs!). They love each other very much and they have been together since they were kittens. They originally came from Florida where they were rescued by tourists off the street.

Kanea and Luna visit Aurora Veterinary Care in Waunakee, WI. Kanea has a bladder stone that was causing her to be unable to urinate and Luna has a luxating patella (slipped kneecap) that caused her to limp in pain. They both desperately need surgical intervention to regain quality of life!

These girls are incredibly affectionate! They love nothing more than cuddling with me and with each other. Luna loves to play fetch and Kanea is a couch potato cuddle bug.

I am on a fixed income and live alone. These girls are my life! We spend all day, every day together and I would love nothing more than to have many years left with them, happy and healthy.
