Kaneki is a loving, fun, and full of energy. Our house went from having four fur babies to two. Kaneki brings so much happiness and love to our life, he’s always cheerful and ready to play. It breaks my heart to see him in pain and unable to enjoy life. His brother Bowser is always by his side providing comfort and support. I too can see his suffering of seeing his brother in such a painful state.

His energy was impacted by the torn of his PTLO. He’s vet visit is only the beginning of a healing journey. Although his currently under pain medication I can see the tears coming down from his eyes expressing the pain he feels. Surgery was recommended right away to avoid any future damage to his leg. The vet visit for his diagnosis was $2,500 and surgery is around $5,000.

Kaneki loves the rain, when it’s raining he likes to sit by the porch and watch the rain fall. He loves playing with his big brother Bowser a frenchie who weighs only 30 lbs. He loves babies he might think he’s one. He enjoys eating fruit! Blueberries and bananas are his favorite! He also loves crunchy toys that he can make sounds with. Kaneki loves to talk with the family, he loves to gossip!

Unfortunately, we never thought this would happen. It was of a sudden moment that he collapsed and noticed his injured leg. Because we never expected for this to happen we weren’t prepared with the cost. I’m a full-time student with very little income.
