About this campaign

I found Kapo at a humane society in Georgia during a really tough year for me I was moving a lot and it was my second move out of state in just one year. His first name was Pacino because he had stitches from surgery on his head in reference to Scarface. I gave the name Kapo. then in reference to Al Capone It felt right since I used to live in Chicago and he already had a tough little name.

After an X-ray at Waterford Lake Animal Vet Hospital, they discovered a mass on Kapo's spleen. To get a closer look, they referred us to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital for an abdominal ultrasound. There, they confirmed it was cancer. To determine if the cancer is malignant or benign, they need to remove the spleen and send it for a biopsy.

Kapo is more than just a pet; he's a living example of pure, unconditional love—something we all can learn a lot from. Ever since I adopted him, he’s been my constant companion, always there to offer comfort without expecting anything in return. He loves to greet everyone with gentle hugs and enjoying belly and butt rubs. He’s always happy to cuddle next to you for the whole day if you let him.

I’m a full-time college student struggling to find an internship. Diagnosing my dog Kapo's condition has already cost nearly $3,000. Your support for his surgery means the world to us and would greatly ease my financial burden.
