Katie is a 6-year-old Beagle in Dayton, OH, who needs $1,500 for Tooth extraction and ACL Surgery.

Katie came into my life 3 years ago in my home but I have known her for her entire life. The story behind this is my dad bought her when she was 5 months for his wife my stepmom! Unfortunately my dad passed away not long after he brought her home within 6 months. Heartbreaking! When dad passed away! And stepmom went into nursing home. Her family asked if would want Katie. Been with me ever since!

Katie is the most lovable sweet princess I know. It has been just Katie and me for a few years since my daughter went off to college!! She love going to dog park and running and running! She is like a greyhound. She also goes to day care twice a week. Because I live in a small 1 bedroom. It’s important she gets her exercise and interaction with other furry friends and people..

Katie is a hugger. When I am upset she jumps on my lap and buarys her head in my chest. So lovable. She like only one treat . Tried many! She loves her squeaky toys the first thing she does is get the squeak out a challenge for her. She is always so happy when I come and always greets me with a toy in mouth and wiggles her entire body. So sweet!!!

I found out today at her vet that she has a few issues. The worst is she has a torn ACL and a broken tooth. Suddenly I now can not allow her to run or go to day care till this gets figured out. This surgery will cost anywhere from 4 to 6k and tooth extraction 700.00 .

I have a full time job but putting my daughter through college has been a huge financial burden on me. I am a single mom and my daughter has relied on only me to help . with trying to make a living . I would do anything to see Katie to run again and live life to the fullest
