My wife, while pregnant, passed away after being hit by a drunk driver. I never married again. At the time Katie came into my life, I had another female Jack Russell Terrie named Sasha. Sasha is going to be 18 in January of next year. Katie will be 15 in November. Sasha and Katie are the only family I have. Both dogs get along extremely well. I love them both. We are an aging family.

Katie is the happiest little animal I have ever known. She loves and trusts everyone. Everyone who has ever met Katie will tell you the same thing. She prances when she walks, tail lifted straight up, and always wants to give you a lick or a kiss. It breaks my heart to see her have to go through what she is going through presently. Even as sick as she is, she’s still the Katie I know.

Our veterinarian found that she had small masses on her spleen and liver and around her heart. She may need long-term oncology health care. She profoundly needs your compassion and financial support.
