Kaya is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees in Clio, CA, who needs $2,000 for Closed Pyometra Surgery.

I'm sharing this post as I could really use some help for Kaya. Anyone that know me knows that for some reason Ray and I couldn't have children so my hunsband and I adopted dogs.. One of our dogs is quite ill and I could really use some help right now. I'm disabled and on a fixed income and don't know where to turn to.

Well, after a very long day we finally got our dear sweet Kaya to the Blue Pearl Vet in Reno. The vet confirmed that it was "Closed Pyometra" and suggested immediate surgery to save her life. We authorized that immediately and Kaya went in for surgery yesterday afternoon.

Her uterus and ovaries were removed.

Kaya's best friend and housemate is another Great Pyrenees "Mindi. We love this breed. Kay's is so very loving, gentle, intelligent and just so darn adorable. She keeps us laughing with all her amazing traits. She loves to play with her toys, go on Ling walks either us and protect her flock. She is one of a kind.

We are on a fixed income and I'm disabled. My husband is my caregiver. When we took Kaya to the Blue Pearl Vetrinary Hospit. Alk we knew is that we couldn't afford to lose her and that we needed to save her life. However, we were shell shocked when we received the bill.
