Kaya is a 4-year-old Boston Terrier whose world turned upside down overnight. 💔 Recently surrendered, she arrived scared, confused, and in pain. Sadly, her former owner hid medical issues now being treated. Kaya is safe with her loving foster mom in Homosassa, Florida, getting the care she deserves.

Kaya was treated for a UTI, but when it didn’t improve, vets discovered bladder stones filling her bladder. She crashed during treatment and was rushed to the University of Florida, where she was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. After weeks of stabilizing, Kaya finally had surgery and at leasr 38 stones were removed! In pictures

Kaya now loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle with everyone she meets. She adores other dogs and is finally living the happy, pain-free life she truly deserves.

Kaya was surrendered to Boston Terrier Rescue of East TN and has already cost the small volunteer-run rescue over $3,500. She’s doing better but now needs special food to prevent bladder stones, meds & monthly shots to manage her Addison’s disease.
