Kayla is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Hendrum, MN, who needs $1,000 for Cancer Surgery.

We got Kayla from 4 Luv of dogs as a rescue when she was just 7 months old. She is now 7 1/2 years old and our fur baby. My son William has been diagnosed with adhd and I suffer from severe anxiety and depression. So Kayla is our emotional support animal.

We discovered a lump on her side that we noticed was getting bigger and bigger. I brought Kayla in for vaccinations and they took a biopsy of the lump and found cancerous cells. Now our vet Healthy Paws of west Fargo wants to remove the lump completely and have it analyzed to see exactly what kind of cancer it is and how aggressive it is.

Kayla is our pride and joy. She is very lovable and also very protective. She sleeps with my son every night and if I go to take a nap she will push my door open and snuggle up on the floor next to the bed and take a nap with me. She loves to get butt rubs and loves to give kisses.

My husband left me almost a year ago and left my our son and I high and dry. I do work part time as a cashier at a gas station. But with the loss of his income and being on welfare I can not afford this important surgery for Kayla.
