About this campaign

KC was a rescue and a blessing, he came into my life August of 2019, he was approximately 2 months old. He was a rambunctious puppy but also had the Scooby syndrome of being curious but frightful. He became the son I never had. I have a daughter that is grown, so home alone, I needed that companionship and KC just became family, my son.

In 2021 KC has to have surgery for bladder stones, at Horton Animal Hospital Discovery. After care was strict prescription diet. A couple weeks ago KC seemed to be having problems urinating, I rushed him to my local vet and he had a UTI and passed a stone. He was put in medication and a week later went in for another urinalysis, it seems to be worse now were talking about having to have surgery.

KC is a big furry goof ball and seems to love to make you laugh. Like I said Scooby syndrome. He thoroughly enjoys being perched in the window on neighborhood patrol, almost like a cat. I can't imagine my life without him, he is my support system, he seems to know exactly the day I have had and the energy he needs to show to make me smile or laugh. I love him immensely.

I work a full time job and I did have a little money saved but this last episode has wiped my savings out just the vet visits, trying to prevent another stone episode. I can't imagine having to euthanize my baby, who has so much life to live because of my financial situation
