My beloved Kdog came into my life 5 years ago. She was abandoned with no food or water for a month. Resulting in all bones and skin. No muscle or fat. She was breed before a year old. She did not know how to be a dog. No leash skills, no outside bathroom knowledge , not even how to bark.In a very short time she mastered all plus becoming a registered service dog. We are together 24/7.

Kdog and I are best friends. We share the same king size bed @ night. She has own bed but prefers my company. She loves being with me and I her. She has flown on planes with me with no issues. She goes to all doctor and dentist appointments. She loves playing with all dogs,runs in the woods and just chillin with me.We are together on all errands .

Kdog is eager to go to new places and do new things. She does not care for cold weather or windy days. When Kdog first came to me she had never experienced bodies of water including kiddy pools. Now it is all a wonderful treat for her. Especially kiddy pools. She loves her chew treats. Unfortunately because of her medical condition she can no longer chew them.

A year ago, Deerfield Veterinary Clinic diagnosed her with a gum disease that causes her gums to grow over her teeth. This makes it painful to chew as she is chewing with gums not teeth. We have had go with only wet food and she can only push her chew treats around and not chew them. Dr. Brothwell prescribed Gingivoplasty with laser.

I am on a fixed income of 13,000 per year. The surgery is estimated between $988.77 and $1885.66.
Way out of my budget. I have reached out to numerous pet funding organizations and had difficulty getting help due to my lack of computer skills. So frustrating!
