Keef is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Chattanooga, TN, who needs $500 for Blood Panel Testing and Blood Transfusion.

I took my best friend, Keef in around two and a half years ago. Me and the roommate I had in my first apartment adopted him from a local cat rescue home. I have since moved in with my girlfriend and I took Keef with me where he has acquired a big fluffy dog and another cat as his sibling's.

Over the past couple of months, Keef started exhibiting symptoms of anemia. As it started in March, he has become more lethargic, his gums paler, and his appetite smaller. These symptoms have resluted in many vet visits to determine the root cause of the issue, but to no avail. It’s still not diagnosed beyond a guess of autoimmune anemia & the vet visits are only continuing.

Keef almost immediately established his mischievous and humorous nature upon arrival to his home by dragging a whole loaf of bread under my bed and consuming every piece while I slept. That really set the tone for the years to come. His sometimes excessive playfulness and his infinite snuggles warms my heart every second and I know he does the same to everyone he meets.

The struggle of finding the root cause of his anemia has resulted in the mass accumulation of vet bills. I have exhausted my resources for him & in the wake of other major financial surprises. I wish nothing more than for people to see this and help him like he’s helped me.
