Help abandoned Snowshoe kitten Keekee get spayed and find a home

Keekee is a breathtaking young snowshoe cat whose life almost ended far too soon. She found herself at a rural kill shelter, placed on the euthanasia/rescue pull list—not because she was sick or unlovable, but simply because she wasn’t spayed. With limited resources, the shelter couldn’t provide the care she needed.

Before being surrendered, Keekee had been kept outdoors by her previous owners. For white cats like her, the South Florida sun is especially dangerous—causing burns, skin damage, and a higher risk of cancer. Sweet Keekee deserved better than abandonment and danger.

Thankfully, Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in to give her the second chance she deserves. Keekee will now receive all of her vetting—her spay surgery, vaccines, and microchip—so she can start fresh with a loving, safe, indoor home.

Update 10/23/25

Keekee was spayed and received her vaccines and microchip. She was also tested for diseases and parasites and was negative. Thanks to your support, she was able to finish all of her necessary medical care so she could be adopted. A wonderful family came in and fell in love with her and she has headed to her forever home!
