About this campaign

US Dog Coalition and Rescue

We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and our adoption fee is $350. Included in this fee are four mandatory one-hour training sessions that cover basic dog training fundamentals—every adopter must complete these classes, without exception. These sessions are designed to ensure that every dog and adopter start off on the right foot.

Our trainer, who also volunteers with us, is available to assist adopters who may struggle with training their dog, face challenges in keeping their dog, or simply need advice after bringing their new companion home. While we do accept owner surrenders from our adopters, we strongly encourage them to try training first.

Our goal is to work closely with adopters to find solutions to any problems they encounter, rather than immediately taking the dogs back into our program. If a dog does need to be returned, we leverage our trainer’s expertise to address any behavioral issues before making the dog available for adoption again. Our primary objectives are to:

1. Thoroughly vet applicants before adoption,
2. Provide ongoing support and education for our adopters, and
3. Equip adopters with the training they need to be the best dog owners they can be.

Mission:
Our mission at the US Dog Coalition & Rescue is to improve the lives of street dogs in Mexico and the US through rescue, nourishment, and spay/neuter initiatives. Our goal is to promote companion animal well-being, eliminate unnecessary euthanasia, and empower communities through resources, education, and comprehensive programs.
