About this campaign
Kenai is our first pet, we got him as a puppy and he is now 5 years old. He also has 2 pet family members who he loves dearly-Cutiepie, our tabby cat, and Pikachu, our lutino cockatiel bird.
Kenai is a very sweet dog, he is loyal and protective. He is sweet to any animal he interacts with and never gets into trouble with other pets. He loves children and knows a few tricks but he loves to play tug-of-war and can run really fast. His dad was a champion competition dog-it shows with Kenai’s agility, he can run circles on anyone.
Kenai is very attentive to anyones feelings and is an emotional support friend. He will follow us around the house and just be around to spend time and bond with us, he would get on the couch to cuddle, he enjoys when we spend time outdoors, he loves going for walks.
Kenai has been diagnosed with Valley Fever, he hasn’t been feeling well for about 1 month now. He started with coughing, runny nose, lethargy to where he has no energy and would lay down for hours. We were hoping it was only kennel cough but decided to take him in for a check up. We took him to Family VetCare of Chandler in Arizona where he will be cared for via visits and medication.
The veterinarian bill is high due to his illness of Valley Fever, his x-rays, the lab test for valley fever, visits and follow ups are going to cost a lot. We are up to $1,000 now with just the initial costs. We are anticipating a total cost of $4,000.
