Kenai is a 9 year old Chihuahua in McDonald, PA, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Therapy.

We got Kenai while stationed in Alaska. We are married with 4 kids and 2 other dogs, he has been with us 9 amazing years and is the best dog we ever have owned.

My dog suffered a perforated bladder and was diagnosed with cancer that hasn't spread yet. His bladder has healed and we are providing chemo, radiation therapy and medicine. We have incurred 35k in medical bills for him in 2 weeks, we have drained our savings. I am retired Air Force with severe PTSD and Kenai has been key to keeping that in control.

Kenai once chased off a Grizzly bear 20x his size when we were hiking in Alaska, he is fearless and loves our family immensely, we have never left his side, he comes everywhere with us.

We had a decent chunk of cash saved over the last 20 years and went through that in 2 weeks, we are now maxing credit. The sheer cost of the procedures to provide him the best is high. He has several good years left with treatment and we will do whatever it takes!
