Kendra is a 5-month old Kitten in San Antonio, TX, who needs $2,000 for emergency surgery.

Kendra, the kitten has a horrible injury and is in agonizing pain. She needs surgery as soon as possible to fix her fractured elbow.
The six-month-old kitten fell off a balcony. “Kendra is in the phase where she’s learning new things, but one wasn’t falling off the third floor! She was curious and always tends to look down from the balcony,” Lisa R., her owner, tells Waggle.

The Perrin-410 Animal Hospital team is ready to perform the surgery and Lisa is racing to raise the money. “Due to the COVID-19 and due to my income, it is very hard to raise the money,” she says. “I will greatly appreciate all the help; I just want my cat back to normal and pain-free. I will also try my best to raise as much money I can myself.”

Kendra loves to go in the shower while the water is running. She enjoys her favorite pink animal toy as well. She makes Lisa laugh when she tries to wake me up because she’s wanting to play.

The kitten loves to stay up most of the night and play while Lisa sleeps. I also enjoy it when she’s purring, that’s one of my best moments that makes me feel happy because I know she’s happy and she feels safe.”

Kendra is so important to Lisa, who immediately developed a close relationship. “She was given to me as a gift from my cousin. Our bond is so funny, loving, and caring. Kendra is my only pet in my home. She is what keeps me going and I look forward to coming home to her. I suffer depression and Kendra is what helps me get through rough moments,” Lisa adds.
