About this campaign

Last October, my former roommate Ava and I adopted two sweet cats—Kenji and Cosmo. From the very first day, Kenji seemed to choose me as his person. He clung to me like he had been waiting for me his whole life. Every day since, he’s brought so much love and comfort into my life. Right now, I’m living in an apartment that eats up nearly every dollar I make just to stay afloat.

My sweet Kenji is wasting away before my eyes. He’s not eating, keeps getting sick, and walks like he’s hurting. The joy in him is gone, and it breaks my heart. I want to take him to Midtown Animal Clinic for tests, but I can’t afford it alone. Please help me give him a chance to feel better and be himself again.

Kenji is the sweetest, most affectionate little guy you’ll ever meet. He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for a cuddle. People always tell me he’s the gentlest, kindest cat they’ve ever known. He usually loves playing with his buddy Cosmo, but lately, he just hasn’t felt well enough to enjoy the things he loves.

My hours at work have been cut so much that I can barely afford rent, let alone vet care. It’s killing me to see Kenji in pain and not be able to help him. He’s suffering, and I feel helpless. I just want to give him a chance to get better before it’s too late.
