Kesha is a 9-year-old English Bulldog in Orem, UT, who needs $1,700 for Pyometra Surgery.

Kesha was adopted 9 years ago. She came into my family at 8 weeks old. I'm going through a hard divorce right now and my ex-husband wanted to have rights to her. He dropped her off at my place and told me that he couldn't care for her after only having her at his new place for a week! She has a disabled doggie friend at home that can't imagine life without her.

Kesha is the sweetest dog! She loves to play in the snow and take care of Bella who is disabled. Kesha is a friend to everyone and wouldn't hurt a fly! Her other best friend at home is the cat named Chloe. She loves to be on the bed with me and the rest of the animals in the house. She is the best cuddle buddy.

Kesha loves to have the butt scratches. She will run into my leg to get my attention for pets. She will run and play in the snow with Bella. She never leaves my side. Kesha snores every night and it seems like the whole neighborhood can hear her. She also likes to run while she sleeps. She has to get toys she loves to play with.

On Sunday Kesha started to act abnormal. She had just finished her heat cycle and the bleeding didn't stop. She started to have discharge that smelled like death! On Thursday I took her into the vet and found out that she has a pyometra (an infection in the uterus). She needs to have surgery to have it removed and start antibiotics as well.

I am currently going through a divorce and my ex-husband refuses to help pay for the expenses. I am on fixed income as well and I was not expecting this bill to come up.
