Kevin is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Manchester , CT, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery.

Kevin originally belonged to a partner. He was struggling a lot financially and could not longer take care of Kevin’s needs. And has given up responsibility and he’s living with me currently with my two cats and dog. Kevin has stomatitis. One vet was trying to provide temporary relief but Kevin needs more. He’s unable to eat on his own and I purée his food and pet and comfort him while he eats.

Kevin is one of the most affectionate and friendly cats. He loves people! Whenever anyone comes over he loves to greet them and hang out with them while they’re here. There’s lots of windows with bird feeders for bird watching and cat trees and toys. Poor Kevin hasn’t been able to play with toys for so long.

Kevin has one of the loudest purrs and he’ll “sing” to you even if you just say hi. He’s honestly one of the strongest kitties for everything he’s endured and still will come to you affectionately for cuddles. He’s just the sweetest boy and I want the best for him. He’s even sweet and chatty when we’ve gone to the vet and everyone loves him there too!

Kevin has so much pain in his mouth that he struggles to eat. And even clean himself or play with toys. A previous vet was also treating him with a temporary fix which the new vet is saying could have caused some kidney damage. Kevin needs extensive testing to check on his kidneys, X-rays for his mouth and a dental surgery to remove the teeth causing him pain.

I have two cats and a dog of my own. And I wasn’t expecting to take on another animals medical bills , especially such a large one. I’ve contributed a few hundred already with what I could. But Kevin deserves better. I’ve thought of a rescue because he needs this help desperately.
