Khali is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Denton, TX, who needs $2,000 for CCL Tear.

A year ago we visited to the local shelter. We were going to look at a pup we saw online named Morrison. When we arrived they told us that he had been adopted. We were going to head home but we noticed a dog pile of 6 pups in one of the cages. We asked what the story was with the babies and were told they were abandoned, in a box on the side of the road. Khali has just been diagnosed with a Congenital limb deformity in the left leg which likely contributed to the tearing of her right CCL. She needs surgery to fix CCL tear and give her at least one sturdy leg. Both legs will need to be surgically fixed. Our veterinarian is Denton Veterinary Clinic.

Our beautiful rescue baby is so gentle and loving. She loves playing with her fur brother Jack. Jack is our 9 years old Blue Merle Aissie. They love each other so much. We have 3 children. Our son is 17 and special needs. She has helped him when he is sad or frustrated. Our daughter 13 & 11 are absolutely smitten over Khali. She is so sweet and loving with all of us. She's our baby girl

We have had tremendous medical expenses for our son. The vet told us the surgery is 4k per leg. We do not financially make enough to cover the surgeries. Khali will be our orthopedic baby 💕 She will need continuous medicine for chronic pain after surgery.
