About this campaign
Khali has been part of our family since she was a puppy — a precious gift from my mom during my pregnancy with our son, Liam. She was just four months old when Liam was born, and the two of them have grown up side by side ever since. Khali has protected him, loved him, and followed him everywhere. She’s not just a dog — she’s his best friend, his comfort, and his guardian.
Khali was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. She had emergency surgery today, and her uterus weighed 5.7 lbs after removal. The procedure likely saved her life, but the medical costs are expected to reach around $5,000. We’re so grateful she made it through.
Khali is truly one of a kind. She has been part of our family since she was a puppy and has grown up alongside our son, Liam. The bond they share is something special—she’s his best friend, protector, and constant companion. Khali is incredibly gentle, loving, and loyal. She follows us everywhere, always wants to be close, and believes she’s a lap dog no matter her size. She adores snuggling.
I currently work as a paraprofessional, and while I don’t make a lot, Khali means everything to our family. The $5,000 surgery cost is a huge financial strain, but losing her was never an option. She’s family, and we’ll do whatever it takes to give her the chance to live.
