Khloe is a three-year-old Golden Retriever in Pearland, TX, who needs $1,500 for immediate leg surgery.

When you see the pictures Sydney O. posted of her beloved dog, Khloe, you just know how much she loves and cherishes her Golden Retriever.

"Khloe is my first fur baby that I welcomed into my family," Sydney tells Waggle. "She has a huge impact on everyone's life. She is my emotional support dog. She brings light to everyone that she sees. She has been my travel buddy and my only other girl in the house, so we stick together with things. She goes to work with me and is always by my side. She's my best friend. I don't know what I'd do without her."

But recently, Khloe started limping on her back leg. "I took her in to the vet to see Dr. Zue at the Family Animal Hospital of Friendswood and got X-Rays. She has a
torn ACL and torn meniscus in her left hind knee. The only way to fix this is surgery and lots of healing and physical therapy."

Sydney is ready to help Khloe through the surgery and physical rehab, but she and her family are struggling to pay for the cost of this unexpected surgery. "I've just had a baby," she says. "I was put on bed rest very early in my pregnancy, which made me be out of work for the last eight months. We have been living off my husband's finances which are getting low with all of these bills."

They hope you can help them get Khloe the medical care she needs so she can return to being a fully functional emotional support dog and treasured family member. "Everybody that comes over to the house mainly wants to see Khloe because she welcomes everyone with her big smile at the door and lots of kisses," Sydney adds.
