About this campaign

We got Kibo about a month after my cat, Kasey passed away. I had her 16 years and she was a wonderful cat. Kibo name means Hope in Japanese.

Kibo is such a special kitty to my whole family. He is very loving to anyone who meets him. He lives a wonderful life with our family and we cannot imagine life without him.

Kibo loves all of us, but especially my daughter. He follows her like a puppy dog and they have an amazing bond since the time he was a tiny kitten.

He trots after my daughter, like she is the most important person on this planet and their bond is so incredible. We all just love Kibo. Kibo loves people and being around them.

Kibo is open to anything wearing his Christmas sweater, being pulled on the sled by my daughter, or just watching the kids outside playing.

He is such a great family member that we could not imagine life without him with his warm meow as he greets us when we come home.

Loving Kibo is like breathing and he has made our family whole.

In April Kibo got out during the night and we could not find him. We called and called for him fearing the worse. We found him, but his tail was limp. We took him to the vet and discovered the tail was bruised with a cut on it. The cut got worse and got infected now part of the tail is dead and needs to be amputated.

I have recently become unemployed and in the process of looking for work. Kibo’s medical bill is more than what we can afford and we have always taken care of our pets since they are part of our family.
