Kiki is a 7 year old Siberian Husky in Blue Grass, IA, who needs $1,000 for TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy).

I got Kiki when I was in my senior year of high school (2017). She lived with me, my parents and our 3 other dogs. And now with 2 other dogs and 2 cats. I’ve always wanted a husky for as long as I knew what dogs were! Figuring out a name was difficult, but then I chose Kiska which then eventually turned into her nickname Kiki. For a husky she is pretty calm but she definitely has her moments!

Currently Kiki is dealing with a lot of medical issues from being diagnosed with epilepsy to now having a torn meniscus. I’m seeking help with possible surgery bill to put a plate in her knee to get mobility back. She loves to run and I want to give her that back.

Kiki is very special to me, she came at a time in my life where I needed a true companion. She’s helped me with depression and anxiety by just simply being there. My favorite thing about her is the attitude. She gives me dirty looks but also paws at me to pet/give attention to her (but only on her own time)! She’s very independent but such a sweet heart and loves other people/ animals!

Currently my fiancé and I had just bought a house, needed renovations, our septic system was acting up so had to call a guy and now our poor Kiki girl tore her meniscus. To have Kiki healthy and feeling better would mean the world to me. She deserves to live a healthy life!
