Kiki is a 4-year-old Pitbull Mix in Staten Island, NY, who needs $2,000 for CCL/MPL Procedures.

Kiki was brought into our life through a post on Craigslist. Kiki was put up for sale on the said site and once we saw her, we needed to get her. We bought her when she was only 2 months old and now she is 4 years old. She has been with us her entire life. Kiki is our first and only pet. She has brought so much joy into every single’s life that she meets.

Kiki is like any human. She sleeps on a queen size bed with her blanket and pillow. She is a wonderful and smart dog. She is very friendly with everyone she meets and everyone loves her. Kiki loves to walk around our neighborhood and at the boardwalk by our house. She is not a fan of the water as much, but she loves the beach and walking on the sand.

Kiki is the most special soul we have met. She bring so much light into our lives. She knows when everyone is upset and tries to comfort them by her licks and hugs. She loves her toys, every single one. Every time she gets a new toy and see her human friends she runs to get it and show them. She loves the hose and sprinkler, and get splashed by them although she does not like baths at all.

Kiki unexpectedly hurt her leg and is now in need of surgery. She has trouble walking and cannot sit properly as she used to. She has lameness and needs a ligament surgery to repair her leg. She needs a CCL/MPL Procedure done. If it is not done, this could have an effect on her other leg causing even more trouble for Kiki.

There is only one person working in the household that receives income. With all the other expenses we have, we do not have enough to cover our dog’s medical bill. We love her so much and want her to be able to sit and walk properly again. We don’t want her to be in pain.
