Kilo is a 11-year-old American Pitbull in Apple Valley, MN, who needs $1,600 for Mass Removal.

We’ve had Kilo since she was 6 weeks old. She’s 11 now and is part of our family. I’m convinced she’s really a human stuck in a fur body. She can speak English and completely understand what I’m saying and feeling. She has slept in my bed next to me every night even though I tried to get her to sleep in the doggy bed. She wasn’t having it. Kilo currently lives with me and my 3 year old twins.

Kilo loves to be outside and play peek a boo with the kids. She loves any food that’s not hers and I’m pretty sure she’s much happier once the kids were born and she gets all the food they throw on the floor. I’m actually pretty sure they have a deal where my son throws her some food down if she gives him a look.

Kilo loves car rides the most and loves to make new friends with other dogs. She’s happiest when we go to grandmas house and she gets to roam free in the backyard. She doesn’t get to run free at home since we live in a townhouse. She’s special because she’s the only dog I’ve ever had and she is my first baby before I had my daughter and son. She’s my best friend.

Kilo has had a previous Lipoma removed on her toe. Then she had 2 other ones grow on her tummy. But the one that’s most concerning is on her chest and it’s hard and can’t really be moved like the others. Pathology testing will need to be done once it’s removed to determine If it’s cancer or not. If the mass isn’t removed it will affect her mobility and she won’t be able to walk.

Kilo’s surgery is a huge sudden expense. I have no savings saved up for something like this and have 2 three year olds at home. For Kilo to be healthy again will take away so much stress and relieve her pain and my worries.
