Kilo is a 12-year-old Yorkie in Columbia, SC, who needs $2,000 for Hernial Surgery.

My pet came into my life when I needed him the most. He is the family dog but after moving in with them after a pretty tough time I became very close to him. He currently lives with me as I'm a full time student. He starts my day on the best note. When I'm down he lifts me up he's truly my best friend all I have to do is look at him he was a rescue prior to that but in the end he rescued me.

Kilo loves to cuddle! He sleeps with me and when I'm feeling overwhelmed and lost he brings my spirit back. I loves Vanilla Almond milk and taking rides in my car. But most of all he likes being on my lap where he knows I'll rub his belly. He's a quiet guy he'll look at you as if to say I'm here if you need me. That's all it takes to make me happy.

Kilo really loves being the center of attention! He likes other dogs but mostly he's a people person. He loves to take walks and explore the neighborhood picking up new scents along the way. But more than anything he loves taking car rides it's the little things...he loves a good pup cup from the coffee house too. That little tail of his knows when that cup of whipcream is coming!

Kilo has a hernia. It has gotten progressively worse and recently there was blood in his stool. I brought him to the veterinary specialist and they said he would need life saving surgery. He is a special little guy I don't want to lose him.

I'm a full time student whose currently living on student loans. Kilo is my emotional support animal who needs me to support him. Having him healthy again would give me a reason to stay the course. He helped my beat depression that was crushing my spirit he gave hope.
