Kilo is my 6 month old Australian Shepherd mix. He’s the love of my life. He’s very energetic, playful, and very sweet. He likes to take walks and run and he likes playing with my grandkids. We have a big yard so he would go into the yard and run around and take the leaves off the trees. That’s Kilo.

Kilo likes to follow my youngest son around the house. Everywhere he goes Kilo has to go. Kilo even sleeps with my son. Everyone loves him here but Kilo has his special person and that’s my son. He puts smiles on everyone’s faces. He’s super hyper when he knows he’s getting a special treat. He knows his name very well. He knows how to answer and he comes on command. Kilo is special because some way somehow he knows when you’re down or need that extra uplifting he comes over and put his head on you so he can get a head rub. He loves when we rub him. He’s so sweet and ver special to us all. He brings a lot of happiness to our home. Kilo likes to get in the bed with you or on the couch so he can be next to you. He likes to lick a lot in the face.

Kilo is 6 months old. My youngest son took Kilo out for a walk on the side walk. And they passed by a home and the owners 2 bulldogs came out the gate and attacked Kilo. They drugged him in the middle of the street. They caused severe damage to his left leg. Kilo was taken to Banfield Pet Hospital where his veterinarian is located and the injury was so severe he had gotten a fever.

The veterinarian wants Kilo to come everyday to keep his wound clean and he needs X-rays to look at the bone. It may be infected. I’m disabled and I can’t afford to pay to get him the help he really need in order to save his leg.
