About this campaign

Without a doubt we all love our fur babies- I am no exception. Kilo and I however , have a special history and I simply cannot begin to imagine my life without him . I am alive today because of him . He literally saved my life and kept me breathing when my husband died in Afghanistan in 2014. He is a source of comfort, joy and my constant companion

Kilo and I live together with his “ big brother “ Gotti, my 9 year old English Mastiff. He is the happiest , smartest dog I have ever seen
He is purely joyous all the time. It is the three of us against the world and kilo especially is my sweet, intuitive source of comfort and love. He is with my everywhere, and just loves everyone and all creatures

I was widowed 8 years ago, I live on a very restricted budget as I am disabled. I had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago and am still in a recovery mode myself. This little dog means more to me than I can verbalize. He saved me when I wanted to die. He is my source of joy.

Last week kilos left eye began looking cloudy - it was a holiday weekend so I got him into the vet as soon as possible Tuesday . I was told he is blind in the eye. They ran bloodwork to look for a cause and the results today were devastating- possibly cushings disease , concern about liver function and the need for a special diet. It’s gonna be a long expensive road

From the day my daughter brought this tiny little puppy home - which at the time also housed 4 rather large American pit bulls , he has been my little man. Fearless, smart beyond anything I’ve ever seen in a dog, and an natural ability to tell if someone is hurting , sad or just needs a little extra love
