About this campaign

Kimchi, our 1-year-old cat, lives a fun and enriching life with her sister Ember. Rescued as a stray, she enjoys a spacious environment filled with cat towers, toys, and ample room to explore and play. Her living space is designed to keep her happy and entertained.

On Sunday, July 21st, Kimchi showed signs of illness, including lethargy, loss of appetite, and clear liquid dripping from her nose. An emergency vet visit revealed she was severely anemic, likely due to a flea bite. She received antibiotics and steroids, but her condition worsened, prompting a blood transfusion at another emergency vet. We’ve invested over $2,000 to help her recover, but further

Despite being just one year old, Kimchi is incredibly special. She constantly shows love and compassion to everyone around her, always gentle and eager to snuggle up and offer comfort. Her calm yet playful nature makes her a joy to be around. Kimchi has a unique ability to bond with people of all ages, including children, strangers, and even other animals like dogs. Her playful and silly demeanor

Hunter and I both work full-time jobs, but the high cost of living and unexpected veterinary expenses have made it challenging to afford Kimchi’s care. We’ve already spent over $2,000 with support from family, but ongoing care is difficult to manage financially.
