King’s journey with our family began in a very special way. When he was just 11 weeks old, we found him through Craigslist, and from that moment on, he became the heart of our home. On June 21st, King turned 9 years old, surrounded by his family (mom, dad, brother, sister, and his adopted dog sister, Diamond). He has been with us through milestones, celebrations, and everyday moments.

On 8/16, King was rushed to the ER after a sudden seizure. He was admitted to OSU's Veterinary Oncology ICU, where doctors discovered he has an insulinoma, a tumor on his pancreas causing dangerous hypoglycemia. His blood sugar drops to life-threatening levels whenever he’s removed from the medications currently sustaining him. He still needs neurological testing & is scheduled for major surgery
