Today, that same strong and loving soul is fighting through unimaginable pain. King has suffered a ruptured bladder, a life-threatening emergency that requires immediate surgical intervention. Seeing him struggle, unable to understand why his body is failing him, has been devastating. King is currently under care at Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Gig Harbor, WA.

I’ve watched King grow, protect, and love with a gentleness that still amazes me. One of the proudest moments of my life was witnessing him become a father, welcoming a beautiful litter of seven puppies into the world.
