King is a 1-year-old American Bulldog in Erie, PA, who needs $1,540 for a slipped/fracture growth plate distal femur.

Firstly. I bought king around Christmas as a gift to myself. He was born in mid October (was unable to get the exact date due to a shady dealer who stopped communicating with me after he was paid.) but king is kind of the only family I have rn. Lost my mom 11/19/19. Was in a pretty bad place but thanks to my beautiful girlfriend and son I’m coming around

King is a little baby. He’s so sweet and wants nothing more than to eat some snacks and cuddle in my lap. Anyone who’s lost someone knows that some days are just hard on you. And king makes everyday a bit easier for me. He is literally the best part of most days for me and I feel like crap rn. Everyone always compliments him on being such a good dog. He loves people.

Anyone who’s knows me knows I don’t ask for handouts. But between coronavirus and depression this last year has been really rough. I have a degree in business and I work for what I need and want but rn my back is against the wall I gave the vets my last 260 . Help me please

So this morning at about 2am I decide to go change laundry. King being my shadow and all follows me everywhere and idk if he was trying to get by me or if he slipped himself. But he took out my leg which led to us both falling down the basement steps and me landing on his hind legs. I’ve never heard him make a noise like that and I immediately knew something was wrong. Leg broken require surgery.

Due to t huh e cold weather and his young age we haven’t spent very much time outside. But he loves the snow. And I was really looking forward to taking him with me to go fishing, to the beach. Let alone just long walks. I really hope that this works. I want my fur baby to have a long enjoyable life with a bunch of fun memories
